below, it describes some common problems which may help in understanding the situation.
In addition to the information on this page, there is a chance we have made a mistake somewhere along the way. We do our best to be perfect but when this does not occur, if you would take a
moment to let us know by sending us a note, it would be greatly appreciated.
with the weekly report that is e-mailed out may be due to the following:
You have subscribed but have not received a forecast yet.
If you just subscribed, please give us fourty-eight hours to respond to your order. We're out and about a lot but if you are in need, give us a call or send us a note. That information is on our contact page.
You may have left out the "@yourdomain.com". We need your complete address which would read like fishon@aol.com.
You have subscribed but there may have been a typo on the form that was sent to us. Contact us and we'll fix this right away.
Some other errors we are getting after we send out the forecast are:
E-mail address is unknown
Mail box if full / disk quota exceeded (free services and others)
Mail box has been disabled
User is not accepting e-mail from this address (AOL/Comcast/Yahoo)
You only get the report once in a while.
Some mail servers are blocking e-mails from The Guide's Forecast, LLP because they believe that we are spamming people. We are NOT spamming anyone and can work this out with the administrators
of your hosting service if you let us know by contacting TGF.
You receive blank e-mails from us.
Some servers only allow smaller size files (or e-mails) to go through that system. This, for the most part, is a protection measure for that server or is set up that way because it is a free service and the company wants to limit the amount of band width used for incoming e-mail on their server. Please, let us know if this is happening to you, we will address that situation with you. Please send us a contact note.
Problems viewing some pages or accessing the subscriber area
First things to try:
Clear the memory in your browser - Using Interent Explorer - Select "Tools", Select "Internet Options", and then select the "General" tab. Under "Temporary Internet Files", click "Delete Files". Under "History", click "Clear History". This should purge any information that may be causing problems with default settings or memory issues.
Clear the memory in your browser - Using Netscape - Select "Edit", Select "Preferences", and then double click "Navigator" tab. Click "History" and then click "Clear Memory Cache" and click "Clear Memory Cache" or "Clear Disk Cache". This should purge any information that may be causing problems with default settings or memory issues.
User Name / Password problems
Both the user name and password you were given are case sensitive and there are never any spaces. We have had to move to temporary passwords lately and sent a notice out regarding that but some have not received it. Just send us a quick note and we'll get you back on line ASAP.
If Internet Explorer autofiles a user name or password for you and it has changed or you are not sure it is functioning correctly try this - Select "Tools", Select "Internet Options", and then select the "Content" tab. Under "Personal Information", click "Auto Complete". Click "Clear Forms", and click "Clear Passwords".
You can view some pages but not others
The others are probably those that are using frames for viewing. Please let us know if this is the case. We have reviewed our logs and have yet to see a browser that is not capable of viewing frames but if you can't we want to know. Contact Form.

Newer information is not visible, TGF updates it pages Thursday nights.
You see what was there last week but can not pull up the newest information. You may need to hit your reload or refresh button on your browser (hold down the Ctrl key and hit the reload or refresh button on your browser at the same time) but it is more likely our error when updating the web site. At times the information is updated but we forgot to update the date. Please let us know by using the Contact Form and we will check into it and correct the problem right away.
You placed an order but have not heard back from The Guide's Forecast? - Please send us a note and include your first and last name. We may have gotten not received a complete e-mail address from you for one reason or another.
