#07 Tillamook Bay Fall Chinook Fishing

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Tillamook Bay with its five major tributaries has significant stable runs of chinook returning to the estuary from late August through December. This fishery has become one of Oregon’s most popular and productive fisheries for anglers wanting action into the early winter months. It is close to a metropolitan area, it is a big body of water able to handle large numbers of boats and it produces fair numbers of large chinook salmon.
