The older I get, the faster time passes, just like Mom said it would when I was a kid, eager to be part of the grownup population. Fall is here, once again, and
with it, some of the best fall chinook fishing the West Coast has seen in decades, maybe longer.
As a full-time outdoor writer, speaker and TV host, I’m forced to think outside the box, try new things, learn from other people and I’m also pressed to catch fish. All this in an effort to help inform and educate fellow anglers. Perhaps I put that pressure on myself, but face it, who wants to read stories about what doesn’t catch fish?
