Author: Buzz Ramsey

Buzz is regarded as a trout, steelhead and salmon sport fishing authority, outdoor writer and proficient lure and fishing rod designer. He is a hall of famer for The National Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame and held a IGFA line-class-record for 9 years for catching a monster 30-pound 5-ounce steelhead from Canada's Thompson River in 1984. Buzz shepherded numerous innovations in his 45-year career with Luhr Jensen, Pure Fishing and Yakima Bait, largely retiring from this successful body of work in 2020. Buzz decided to semi-retire at the end of 2020. He has continued to write his monthly column for Northwest Sportsman Magazine and his writing (including online seminars and video clips) will appear on The Guides Forecast.
