Oregon Fishing Soap Box

Posted on June 5, 2015 by Michael Teague

For the longest time, anglers have complained about the complexity of fishing regulations and the complex and sometimes confusing way the fishing regulations booklet is written. It seems the ODFW finally got the message and, starting in 2016, fishing rules and the method by which they’re presented are supposed to be more streamlined and easier to understand, starting with warmwater species and trout.

In order to provide the public information on the new effort, a series of meetings have been scheduled to present the new regs and improved format. Catch one if this is of interest:

Eugene, June 9, Lane County Community College, Bldg. 17 Rm. 308, 4000 E 30th Ave., Eugene 97405
