About the Author
Maddy Sheehan grew up in Chesterton, Indiana on the shores of Lake Michigan. She adopted Oregon as her home state in 1972, and has fished Oregon with unabated affection ever since. A graduate of Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, and Lewis and Clark Law School, Portland, Oregon, Maddy lives in Happy Valley, Oregon within hailing distance of a tributary of the Clackamas River. She has been compiling and publishing Fishing in Oregon for 35 years. She practices estate and elder law in Clackamas County, volunteers as counsel for the Northwest Sportfishing Industry Association, and is a founding member of the Scappoose Bay Watershed Council.
